The Tsarina of boxing Natascha Ragosina
(19-0-0, 11 KOs) is going to compete in her 20th professional
fight at Sport Arena Grossziethen. She is putting three
world champion belts in the scale pan on March 28th
2009. The unbeaten title holder defends the crowns
of WIBF, GBU and WBC. The female pro from Trinidad & Tobago,
who wants to dispute the super-champion belt is Iva
Weston (12-4-0, 1 KO). The just 23-year old boxing
girl can already refer to the experience of several
title fight. She was boxing for WIBF world champion
belt 2004 and half a year later for WBA crown. Iva
Weston was not able to beat her rivals in the first
two fights but she could get the WIBC world champion
belt the same year. Now she was attracted to Germany
by # 1 of world ranking. Iva Weston is listed on #
5 of independent internet ranking. “This is the
biggest challenge in my life. It’s my dream to
defeat Natascha Ragosina. I would be the stumbling
block of her career”, said Iva Weston for the
fight. In contrast SES’ boxing lady Natascha
Ragosina estimates the chance of her challenger as
low. “Iva Weston can be glad when she leaves
the boxing ring save”, explained the world champion.
The Appearance at the
world championship on March 28th at Sport Arena Grossziethen
is a “home match” for Ramona Kuehne (12-0-0,
3 KOs). Here, at her domicile, the native Berlin is
a local matador. The 29- year old pro can present herself
in a world championship fight to the local fans for
the first time. After winning the Interims world-championship
in half welterweight and capturing the world championship
in lightweight now Ramona Kuehne aims for the WIBF-world
champion belt in super featherweight. Her rival at
boxing gala evening of SES on March 28th is Judy Waguthii
(7-3-1) of Kenya. If Ramona Kuehne captures the third
world champion tile in the third weight class on Saturday
she has to decide if she wants to stay in lightweight
or super featherweight. She has to abdicate one belt
for sure.
The third title fight at Sport Arena
Grossziethen contests super welterweighter Lukas Konecny
(38-3-0, 19 KOs). He challenges the current EU champion
Jimmy Colas (25-4-0. 11 KOs). Konencny, who wasn’t
able to climb up on the world champion’s throne
after the controversial judgement of the fight against
Sergiy Dzinziruk a year ago in Dresden, wants to challenge
the champion Dzinziruk again. Magdeburger pro boxer
of SES is currently on # 2 in the WBO ranking. A victory
against the French Colas should bring the native Czech
again on the top position. Then Lukas Konecny would
get once again the position of the official challenger
and could hope of a rematch against Dzinziruk. Lukas
Konecny was already EU-Champion till 2005. Through
this important European title he has reached once the
world top.
DSF will broadcast live
the three title fights from Grossziethen at 10.00 p.m.
(CET). REN TV (Russia) and Nova Sports (Czech Republic)
affiliated. The fights at Sport Arena Grossziethen
will be broadcasted live in five countries (Germany,
Austria, Switzerland, Russia, Czech Republic).
Further Fights
Junior
Flyweight, 8 Rounds Kristin Schoenig vs. Evgenia
Zablotskaja.
Kristin
Schoening Goes in the Ring as a Favourite.
The just 22-years young
female fighter Kristin Schoening (10-5-0, 3 KOs) of
Dresden is acting at a SES’ boxing event for
the first time. The junior flyweighter has already
experience in the ring from her 15 fights. At Sport
Arena Grossziethen the 22 year old Russian Evgenia
Zablotskaja (0-4-0) is competing against Kristin Schoening.
The girl of Dresden is the favourite in this 8-rounder.
She has to prove whether she can cope with the task.
Welterweighter,
6 Rounds Tommy Altmann vs. Suleyman Dag.
Is
Tommy Altmann Fit for the Distance of Six Rounds?
The SES’ boxer
of Magdeburg Tommy Altmann (7-0-0, 3 KOs) is standing
in the ring at Grossziethen for his 8th professional
fight. The 19-year old pro, who is advancing in his
career under Dirk Dzemski’s coaching, wants to
follow in the footsteps of his team colleague Oliver
Guettel. “Mor sweat must flow before Tommy could
think about youth world championship”, said coach
Dirk Dzemski. Nevertheless he believes his trainee
has the potential to aim on such a title next year.
As his next challenge Suleyman Dag (4-5-0. 2 KOs) is
waiting for the Magdeburger at Grossziethen. In the
6-rounder Tommy Altmann has to prove if he can cope
with the whole distance- conditionally and tactically.

„A gastronome

Klaus Neubauer the catering chief, who went into retirement
lately.
When the first boxing
club Magdeburg became German amateur team champion
1999, the 65- year old had the first contact with the
fistfight and instantly the vision of the togetherness
of boxing and Hotel Martitim. Klaus Neubauer was quasi
classified as boxing agent of the noble house upon
the Elbriver. On December 1th, 2000 the professionals
from SES were in the boxing ring of the main hotel
hall for the first time. From this time on the boxing
club from Magdeburg was a guest in Maritim 10 times.
Klaus Neubauer, who picked up his employment at the
former interhotel on May 1th 1967, even cared for Sven
Ottke and Regina Hallmich.
SES’ manager Ulf
Steinforth and WBC-Interconti champion Robert Stieglitz
thanked him for his personal engagement on Thursday.
However the SES team won’t leave him go into
his boxing-retirement. Ulf Steinforth wants the hotel
professional as an adviser on his side for the catering

Three
Title Fights at Sport Arena Grossziethen
Two World Championships
with Ramona Kuehne and Super Champion Natascha Ragosina
23
Feb 2009
+++ Boxing Gala
Evening of SES , March 28th 2009 in Schoenefeld
+++
The pro boxing stable
of Magdeburg SES presents an international pro boxing
show for the first time in Schoenefeld area (Berlin/Germany).
This happening is due to the popularity of Ramona Kuehne(12-0-0,
3 KOs) , who is at home in Berlin. Ramona Kuehne’s
task for the fight on March 28th 2009 at Sport Arena
Grossziethen is another champions belt. On October
13th, 2007 the native Berliner won the WIBF Interims
super lightweight title. Half a year later, she fought
successfully for the WIBF lightweight crown and defended
it brilliantly against Dahianna Santana last year.
Now Ramona Kuehne wants to perform one weight class
lower – at super featherweight. Thus she attacks
the WIBF title in a further weight class. “It
is actually pretty unusual; however it shows her power
spectrum. Normally pro boxers go a weight class up” so
SES’ manager Ulf Steinforth.
Two further top class
pro fights are in the program along with Ramona Kuehne’s
home match. Super champion Natascha Ragosina (19-0-0,
11 KOs) is to defend two belts of her collection -
WIBF and GBU in super middleweight. Few weeks ago the
Tsarina of Boxing won the Boxer of the Year 2008 Award
of WBC. At sport Arena Grosziethen, the 32-year old
boxing lady wants to prove that she is truly world
class.
The third title fight
on the card is of SES’ super welterweighter Lukas
Konecny (38-3-0, 19 KOs) for the EU title.

Oliver Guettel Defends his WCH Belt before the
Final Gong
28
Feb 2009
WBC Youth
Welterweight WCH
Oliver
Güttel vs. Daniel Zell
TKO Win Oliver Guettel,
round 9, 3.01 min.
Friday evening WBC
Youth world champion Oliver Guettel defended for the
third time his title in front of 2.000 viewers at Ballhaus
Arena in Aschersleben/Germany. The name of his challenger
was Daniel Zell of Berlin. The world champion took
over the reigns in the very first round and tried to
impose his style on his contender. With a sharp eye
and even a better sense of distance, the young boxer,
coached by Dirk Dzemski (SES), scintillated in technically
spectacular combinations.
Although Daniel Zell
had a slight outreach advantage, he was not able to
use it. Guettel boxed variably and kept scoring with
punches to body and head of his rival. Oliver Guettel
new how to avoid all attacks of the Berliner and countered
with straight arm punches. At the end of round 3, the
title holder was clear ahead on the score cards. The
boxer of SES gone the first half of the bout at a rapid
pace and overdrew Daniel Zell with series of blows.
Guettel has been dictating the fight and the young
boy of Berlin has been falling behind gain and again.
Till the second third of the fight the pro of Magdeburg
was clear ahead on the score cards and nobody could
take him the win on points.
In round 8 Daniel Zell
went to the floor after another hart blow, however
referee Juergen Langos saw it as a low blow and the
knock down was not regarded. In round nine the champion
hit Daniel Zell’s chin with a left straight.
It was so effective that Juergen Langos stopped the
fight, which turned into a mismatch. Thus Oliver Guettel
left as an unbeaten youth world champion and recommended
himself for further fights on the scene of the senior
boxers. The fans celebrated with standing ovation the
old and new champion. Oliver Guettel got the Gold Medal
of Honour by WBC Youth championship’s chairman
Rex Walker.
Cruiserweight, 6 rounds - Serdar Sahin
vs. Marcel Erler
KO Win, serdar Sahin,
3rd round, 1,06 min.
It was worth to see,
yet in the first round, how „Bomber“ Serdar
Sahin scored with several punches against his contender
Marcel Erler. The former winner of DSF’s BoxXstar,
coached currently by Ralf Rocchigianni, fought very
concentrated and kept track of each action. He dictated
the bout mainly with his lead fist. Marcel Erler held
himself back in this phase and managed to counter a
few times successfully. In round three Serdar Sahin
threw with his lead arm the deciding punch. He continued
with a lot of body blows and forced his opponent to
his knees. Erler could not put up anymore resistance
and was counted out by referee Klaus Griesel. Serdar
Sahin racked up his ninth victory before the final
gong.

Natascha Ragosina Named WBC Female Boxer of the Year 2008
12 Feb 2009
Magdeburg, 15.03.2008
+++ The Highest Recognition for SES Team +++
Few days ago boxing lady Natascha Ragosina of SES was named by World Boxing Council (WBC) Female Boxer of the Year 2008. The decision of WBC is based on the outstanding performances of the 32-year old boxer, who fights currently for SES boxing stable in Magdeburg.
“The World Boxing Council is extremely proud of Natascha. She is without a doubt, one of the most outstanding boxers of our time. She is very talented, and is a credit to the sport of professional boxing” so Ed Pearson – chairman of WBC Female Championship Committee. The president of the organisation Jose Sulaiman along with the Board of the Governors has voted the award and has been very impressed with her accomplishments this past year.
“This is the highest recognition that a female and male athlete of SES has ever obtained. Cordial congratulations for Natascha Ragosina! I am so proud to have such a boxer in our team” stated the manager of SES Ulf Steinforth on the press release of WBC. Natascha Ragosina is unbeaten in 19 professional fights and won 11 of them before the final gong. On March 2008 in Magdeburg she gained all together 7 world titles. The boxing lady has already defended three times the WBC crown.

Coach Dirk Dzemski Breaks New Training-Ground Team of Experts for
More Extensive Boxers’ Training
26 Jan 2009
+++ Live on DSF at 9:15 p.m. +++
WBC Youth champion Oliver Güttel (15-1-0, 8 KOs) strides out towards his third stroke: the 23-year old boxer defends his title for the third time on Friday, February 27th 2009, at Ballhaus-Arena. A year ago on May 15th, in the same town the pro of SES got WBC Youth Welterweight Champion’s belt in a spectacular duel against Ilian Ares and enchanted the fans in Aschersleben. At his next performance he wants again to show his fans a very entertaining fight. At Ballhaus-Arena takes place the new edition of the clash Oliver Guettel vs. Brandon Baue (9-2-0, 8 KOs). Actually the US American wanted to challenge the Leipziger-by-choice last year on December 5th. However Baue had to have a rest due to an injury and Oliver Guettel retained his belt in the fight against Muhsen Nasser (Great Britain). Brandon Baue is the last challenger of the current youth champion. Oliver Guettel celebrates his 24th birthday on March 17thand and herewith he grows out of the youth age class. The American, who won 11 of his pro box bouts before the final gong, has already had attracted the attention of the team Guettel – coach Dzemski with his aggressive style. “Oli improved his technique, he can dodge the blows of such a warhorse and asserts his own style” says Dirk Dzemski before the fight.
SES’ cruiserweighter Falko Besser (1-0-0, 1 KO), who made an excellent debut with a furious KO in Aschersleben is performing next to the champion at the first boxing gala of Sport Events Steinforth for this year at Ballhaus- Arena. In his second pro fight on February 27th, ex-basketball player of Aschersleben faces Christian Schwaeblein (1-3-0) of Leipzig. In the supporting programme are further pro boxers of SES to be seen - Norman Schuster (15-2-0, 7 KOs) of Halle (upon the river Saale), Philipp Schuster (6-0-1, 5 KOs) and the Magdeburger Tommy Altmann (6-0-0, 3 KOs).
DSF broadcasts the main fight at 9:15 p. m. live from Aschersleben.
SES’ coach Dirk Dzemski has been recently thinking very much about the training of his boxers. At the moment the 36-year old ex pro coaches Oliver Guettel, Lukas Konecny, Falko Besser, Tommy Altmann, Marco Schulze and Maria Lindberg. In the future Dirk Dzemski wants to integrate in the boxing education and training, more experts’ know-how. “It is a matter of partly improved methods in teaching coordination, endurance, speed strength, courage, boxing technique and mental control, as a part of the competition preparation” explained the coach.
So he plans to go to the golf course with his boxers to improve their concentration ability. Moreover while playing golf the team braces its trust to each other, personal needs and problems could be discussed. Dirk Dzemski and the diver (high diving) of Halle Andreas Wels contracts one more partnership. High diving demands 100% body control – so the athletes can train body coordination sequences and test their mental strength. Shotputter Nadine Kleinert, who has been a close partner of SES since more than a year, wants to help the boxers with speed strength training. In the future Dirk Dzemski will intensify the mental training, the nutrition competence and the rehabilitation of sport injuries. He is negotiating with ex Olympic champion in marathon Waldemar Cierpinski to bring the endurance training of his boxers up to the scratch.
“In the moment, Dzemski is developing a whole package of box training methods. I can see in his face one “boxing Klinsmann”. He searches new and untraditional ways. I support him in it completely”, emphasized the manager of SES Ulf Steinforth on the intention of his head coach.

+ + + WBC International Champion to Fight on Saturday in Boerdelandhalle + + +
After his high class performance at the fight in Soelden/Austria against Universum’s boxer Lukas Wilaschek, which brought him the WBC International super middleweight title in the beginning of December, Robert Stieglitz (33-2-0, 20 KOs) wants to meet his fans in Magdeburg.
The 27-year old pro gets in the ring at the “Universum Champions Night“ in Boerdelandhalle, Magdeburg next Saturday with the ambition to improve his world ranking position. Currently Robert Stieglitz is on position 5 of WBA and IBF and he has good chances to move upward in the rankings of the other big boxing organisations as a preparation for a world title fight. On Saturday he faces Dmitri Protkunas (10-27-1, 1 KO) of Estonia. His wish is to win and thus to commend himself for a big fight.
By the way he keeps in view two options: champion title bout either in super middleweight or light heavyweight. Some of the potential rivals can be seen as well that night. Zsolt Erdei (light heavyweight) and Denis Inkin (super middleweight) - both WBO title holders – are defending on January 10th in the city on Elbe river.

Robert Stieglitz Wins in the WBC International Championship in Soelden/Austria
10 Dec 2008
+ + + The Pro Boxer of SES Stays on Course World Championship + + +
After 12 well worth seeing rounds on Tuesday evening, SES’ pro boxer Robert Stieglitz of Magdeburg decided in his own favour the explosive German-German duel with Lukas Wilaschek. At Friezeit-Arena in Soelden/Austria, Stieglitz captured the WBC international super middleweight champion belt and hopes now for a chance of a world championship.
The boxer, coached by Torsten Schmitz, dominated his opponent Lukas Wilaschek during the first half of the fight. Only afterwards spotlight-boxing pro Wilaschek showed more impressive actions and played to the gallery. In round 8 he even pushed Stieglitz hard. But the 27-year old boxer of Magdeburg had more staying power at the end, what was prised in the score cards.
Both boxers showed a spectacular high pace fight and various combinations. Even the warning followed by a point deduction against Stieglitz did not change the result. The jury unanimously decided for Robert Stieglitz: 114:113, 115:112, 114:113.

At the “Prosieben Fightnight“ on Friday, SES’ welterweighter Oliver Guettel climbed up in the ring at Brandberge sport hall in Halle/Germany for his second WBC Youth world champion title defence. Yet in the very beginning of the duel, the challenger Muhsen Nasser of Great Britain showed, as expected, to be a hard opponent.
The unbeaten Englishman of Sheffield did not give Oliver Guettel many chances to score. However the pro of the Magdeburger boxing stable acted from a save covering and contrived within the first three rounds to press continuously his rival. Till the round 5 the champion gained his challenger’s respect. The attacks of Nasser got rarer but he kept making dangerous attacks at the end of the rounds.
From half on, Oliver Guettel dictated the fight. Over and over he has been pushing Nasser to the ring ropes and scored through good combinations. Obviously Muhsen Nasser had problems with his condition. The Englishman has never gone the entire distance of 10 rounds till this fight. In round 8, Nasser unfairly pushed Guettel yet again. At that SES’ pro even tripped over the ring ropes. In return Nasser received a warning from the referee. However Guettel seemed to be strongly impressed by this action. Muhsen Nasser sniffed his chance and turned into attack in round 9. In the last distance Oliver Guettel fought again like a lion and captured the win of the round with clear punches. At the end the bout turned into a real slaughter, which ended with a unanimous win on points for Oliver Guettel. The glorious champion was celebrated frenetically by the huge audience in Halle.

WBC Youth welterweight world champion Oliver Guettel (of SES) defended for the first time his title on Friday in front of 1 500 viewers at Mittellandhalle in Barleben/Magdeburg. He met in the ring Felix Lora of the Dominican Republic. Felix Lora has completed eight of his nine bouts before the final gong. As expected he went very offensive in the combat with the title defender too. Oliver Guettel began clearly the fight and went forward under his own firm guard. At the end of the round 2 he assaulted Lora successfully. During the next distance the pro of SES scored through a right punch, moving himself backwards. The boy of the Dominican Republic received an eight-count by referee Juergen Langos. Guettel scented his chance and continued chasing him. In the end the bell saved Lora in the break. The man of the Dominican Republic tried his luck in a single attack but Oliver Guettel has already sniffed he will decide this fight in his own favour. In the further round 4, Lora went once again down and received an eight-count. After another knock down, referee Juergen Langos broke the fight down. Herewith Oliver Guettel defended his champion belt through TKO and was celebrated frenetically by the audience as a winner.

+++ Timo Hoffmann: Father’s Joy for the Birthday +++
Today, the early morning of September 25th, SES’s heavyweighter Timo Hoffmann got his first and really unique birthday present. The 34 year old pro became a father between 2 and 3 a.m.
The little Ronja turned the scale at 3.740 g and now is save and sound. Actually she must have come a week ago, but obviously she took her time and waited till her begetter’s birthday and so shuffled several times his training plan.
On October 10th, Tomo Hoffmann, called “The German Oak”, makes his “come back” at Mittellandhalle in Barleben/Magdeburg. Next week he is going to Freiburg in Breisgau and is having a long sparring with Samuel Peter – Vitali Klitschko’s opponent for October 11th. Peter absolutely wanted to fight with Hoffmann because no other rival of the twin has ever went the whole distance of 12 rounds with the Ukrainian, except this German.

Eugen Orlov Looses Only Narrowly
06 Sep 2008
In Swedesh Karlstad on Friday evening, SES’ heavyweighter Eugen Orlov faced in the ring Attila Levin. The fight, originally scheduled as a 6-rounder, was cut to 4 rounds short before the begin.
“It was at a disadvantage for Eugen. Our tactics were designed for 6 rounds”, said coach Dirk Dzemski after the fight. The boxers were very busy during the whole distance and showed a juicy and feisty bout. In the last few rounds the SES’ pro of Magdeburg was getting even better and better.
“Should the fight have lasted 2 more rounds, Orlov would have won, even maybe before the final gong” meant the coach.

+++ “German Oak” Strikes Roots in Magdeburg +++
+++ Boxing Gala Evening of SES at Mittellandhalle in Barleben +++
+++ LIVE on DSF at 09:30 p.m. +++
On Friday, October 10th, 2008, WBC Youth World Champion Oliver Guettel (13-1-0, 7 KO) is defending for the first time his champion’s belt at the gates of the state capital city Magdeurg – at Mittellandhalle in Barleben. He won in May the WBC Welterweight Youth crown in an entertaining and crowd pleaser fight against Ilian Ares of Berlin. Now Dirk Dzemski’s trainee is facing his first champion’s performance test. At Mittellandhalle in Barleben/by Magdeburg Oliver Guettel meets the US American Brandon Baue (9-2-0, 8 KO). The 21-year old challenger has won 8 of his 9 victorious box bouts before the final gong. The encounter of the two fist fighters promises to be an outstanding duel of a high level. Making a giant leap in boxing technique with his last fight, Guettel proved to be able to prevail over real puncher. He needs again these skils against Brandon Baue, because the American is an offensively minded and keeps the pressure on his opponents. However Oliver Guettel and coach Dirk Dzemski are sure they will crack the challenger. “ Oli made again progress. He got more power of endurance, concentration and sovereign. And he has got anyway a brave boxer heart” , supported the coach his trainee. “The fight will be a real crowd pleaser with a lot of action - a genuine high light of the boxing gala at Mittellandhalle, explained the manager of SES Ulf Steinforth.
Another highlight at the boxing gala evening of SES is the appearance of Timo Hoffmann (44-6-1, 21 KO). #1 of the German heavyweight ranking is fighting already for the professional boxing stable in Magdeburg. “ I received a lot of proposals but at the end I choose SES. The conditions were good, the team is very likable and I am again at home in boxing too”, said the pro from Saxony Anhalt (a federal state in Germany with capital city Magdeburg) to his getting started in SES. During his 44 pro fights Timo Hoffmann could perform only 5 times at home. “At my last box bout on November 17th, 2008 at Boerdelandhalle in Magdeburg the spectators backed me. This likableness impressed and I very much would like to give the fans something back - for example good boxing performance. Moreover I plan to do something for the future” so Timo Hoffmann. The “German Oak” is going to strike roots in Magdeburg and will try to rise up again. Ulf Steinforth – manager of SES – builds on the heavyweighter. “I think Timo has got it in him to be able to recharge. The European Championship is on one side a close option, on the other side I believe he can attack as well a world champion title. But then, Timo is the sole opponent of Vitali Klitschko, who with the Ukrainian must went the whole distance of 12 rounds and in this duel Klitschko looked not exactly like an outstanding winner. SES is going to provide him with all necessary conditions he needs to obtain success”, so Ulf Steinforth.
The world championship fight with Oliver Guettel and the 8-round duel of Tomo Hoffmann will be broadcasted live on DSF at 09:30 p. m on October 10th. In undercard of the boxing gala evening of SES in Mittellandhalle, will to be seen another few pro boxers of SES. Welterweighter Tommy Altmann (4-0-0, 2 KO) is competing for the 5th time. His stable colleague Falko Besser (1-0-0, 1 KO), who made a sensational debut in May and stroke his opponent KO in the first round, is also there and wants again to cause a furor. Enrico Wolf (4-0-0, 1 KO) is fighting in a middleweight 4-rounder.

Achieng: Ragosina Will Meet her Waterloo in Cuxhaven

July 11th, 2008, RUNDTURNHALLE, Cuxhaven + + +
Conjestina Achieng, challenger of the super champion Natascha Ragosina, threatens with a crushing defeat. “I will surprise Ragosina and knock her out. Cuxhaven will become her Waterloo” explained today the strongest woman of Africa.
The female fighters face each other on Friday, July 11th, 2008 at RUNDTURNHALLE in Cuxhaven. Two world champion belts – of WIBF and GBU - are subject to “renegotiation”. This title fight is for Conjestina a question of a special national honour. The 30-year-old female boxer, who has been preparing herself in Hamburg last six weeks, received telephone calls of the Kenyan president and prime minister from her homeland. The wife of the president and the ambassador of the African state want to pursue the fight of their country woman live at the ringside. Boxing experts, who have already watched Conjestina Achieng in the ring during her training in Hamburg, say that a very heavy task is awaiting the world champion. If Natascha Ragosina loses, it would be a bitter loss not only for her.
This boxing gala evening in Cuxhaven is the 50th event of Magdeburger promoter Ulf Steinforth. SES’ manager places at the ring his both “poster children”. Next to Natascha is fighting, in an 8-rounder, super middle weighter Robert Stieglitz against the Dane boxer Fawaz Nasir. If the pro of Magdeburg wins, he hopes of rapid way upwards to the world top and to get a chance of an international title fight. The main fights o f the boxing evening will be broadcasted live by DSF at 10:15 pm. The Russian REN TV broadcasts also live in Russia. Another competition will attract the attention of the spectators in RUNDTURNHALLE – MY SPACE and TALENT –CASTING K1 AGENCY are searching Germany’s top number-girls. Robert Stieglitz Keeps a Close Eye on the European Championship
01 Jul 2008
+ + + The Pro of SES Fights in Cuxhaven against Fawaz Nasir + + +
SES’ pro Robert Stieglitz wants to return to the charge. He comes back in the ring on 11th July, 2008 at Rundturnhalle in Cuxhaven. Robert Stieglitz faces the strong Dane boxer Fawaz Nasir (13-2-0, 8 KO) in an 8-round duel.
Stieglitz’ motto is “all good things come by threes”. This third attempt to climb up the top of the world will be in the same time the last chance in his carrier. A victory against Fawaz Nasir would smooth the ways to one European crown. “I want to become a European champion” made known his closest target Stieglitz. Of course his rival will not allow him a cakewalk. A year ago in a WBO Inter-Continental Championship fight against undefeated Sebastian Zbik, Nasir proved his abilities. Fawaz was defeated by hair’s breadth on points.
This fight demands Stieglitz’ technical and tactical skills. Of course he will prove also his athletical and physical strong points. Super champion Natascha Ragosina comes up in the main fight of the boxing evening in Cuxhaven. She fights ten rounds for WIBF and GBU titles against Kenyan Conjestina Achieng. Both box bouts will be broadcasted live by DSF in Germany and REN TV in Russia at 10:15pm.

World Championship Fight in Cuxhaven First Attack during the Press Conference
19 Jun 2008
+ + + Both Female Boxers Augur KO + + +
Today’s press conference about the WIBF and GBU World Championship between world champion Natascha Ragosina and Conjestina Achieng on July 11th, gave us foretaste of the suspense of the upcoming duel in Cuxhaven. Both rivals did not save verbal attacks against each other.
The world champion opened the press conference with this announcement: “the fight will not go the distance!”. She has been preparing herself for the fight in the Russian high mountains and feels so strong like never before. That is why she sees no chance for Achieng.
The challenger hit back: she has thrashed the life of all her sparring partners till now. After all there are no more women, who want to face her in the ring and now she has to make sparring with male boxers. Her manager George Klingenberg is currently training with her in the ring. But the ex-pugilist bears up in the ring against Achieng only two rounds. Even he was knocked down two times during the first sparring round. This super middleweight duel at Rundturm Arena is promising a lot of pure dynamite. DSF and REN TV (Russia) transfer the fight live at 22:15 pm.

+++ DSF and REN TV live coverage at 22:15 pm +++
Tsarina of boxing and 7-world-title holder Natascha Ragosina (17-0-0, 11 KO) gets again into the ring on july 11th. In this super middleweight world title defence in Cuxhaven undefended boxing lady of SES faces the strongest woman of Africa Conjestina Achieng (21-4-3, 7 KO). SES’ boxing lady puts two (WIBF’s and GBU’s) of her seven current titles into the scale. Not only the performance of undoubting strongest woman of the world provides for sensation but the event site Cuxhaven itself promises extraordinary atmosphere. The main fight and the event site RUNDTURM ARENA in the North Sea town Cuxhaven emphasise the importance of the boxing gala evening for the stable of Magdeburg. After all SES’ manager Ulf Steinforth wanted special highlights to for his 50th event. “With our poster child Natascha and the impressing North Sea scenery of Cuxhaven we really emphasise how significant is this anniversary event” said Ulf Steinforth. The box bout of the world champion is actually the most prominent one in Cuxhaven ever. “We are definitely sure we get a complete sold out sport hall of 1 300 viewers” so SES’ manager. Challenger Conjestina Achieng isn’t a no-name in Germany. A TV channel has introduced a year ago the 30-year old, who lives for the boxing sport and earns the living of her whole family by fist fight. The TV show “Weltspiegel” (ARD) showed a documentary about the Kenyan on July 22nd, 2007. Conjestina Achieng – a woman who fought her way in life and boxing through and is a star in her home land – wants to conquer the world with the fight in Cuxhaven. But this task is heavier as she probably thought, because the strongest woman of Africa faces the strongest woman in the world. Natascha Ragosina, who is currently very concentrated on preparation for her world title defence in her home land, will allow nobody to depose her on her throne. “Even the strongest woman of Africa will not beat me. Her fists of stone will not succeed to prevail over my steel hammers”, said the 7-world-title holder.
In the second mainfight of the evening we will see the come back of SES’ pro Robert Stieglitz (31-2-0, 19 KO). Ex IBF I/C Junior world champion wants once again to get down to the position of the world champion’s challenger. The 26-year-old Magdeburger wants to start with this task in Cuxhaven. Stieglitz faces the strong Dane boxer Fawaz Nasir (13-2-0, 8 KO) in an 8-round duel. In a WBO I/C Championship fight a year ago, Nasir was very convincing against undefeated Sebastian Zbik. He lost narrowly on points.
A title fight for the German Championship in super welterweight is another highlight in SES’ boxing gala evening. The pro of Spotlight-boxing Maurice Weber (11-0-1, 3 KO) defends for the second time his national champion belt (the challenger will be announced) and wants to commend himself for international title fights. The attractive ex-world champion from Netherlands Esther Schouten (20-4-1, 3 KO), trained by Torsten Schmitz, is also in the fight card of Cuxhaven. She fights in an 8-round-junior featherweight- duel. All together 11 international fights are scheduled to take place. The sport hall doors open at 17:00 pm; the first-fight gong will ring at about 17:30 pm. Further fights in Cuxhaven will be announced for the press very soon. The main box bouts of 50th jubilee boxing gala evening will be broadcasted live at 22:15 pm by DSF and the Russian REN TV.

In front of a sold off Tabor arena in Maribor, SES’ Welterweighter Jan Zaveck prevailed clearly against Marco Cattikas and got after 12 rounds once again the IBF Inter-Conti welterweight crown.
The Slovene dominated his rival the entire distance. Torsten Schmitz’ protégé lost only one or two rounds. The win on points has never been in danger but Marco Cattikas did not permit a premature end. At the end the judges scored 117:111; 118:110; 118:110 for the boxer from the SES’ boxing stable. The spectators in Tabor Arena had cheered on frenetically their local matador twelve rounds long and celebrated him as a super star after the score announcement.

WBC Youth World Championship in Welterweight, 10 Rounds
Oliver Güttel vs. Ilian Ares
Result: Unanimous win on points Oliver Güttel (98:91, 97:93, 97:93)
On Friday evening in completely sold out sport hall Ballhaus-Arena, Oliver Guettel faced Ilian Ares in the fight for WBC Youth World Champion title. The last box bout of SES’ boxing gala evening was also the sporty highlight of the event. In the first round Ilian Ares of Berlin stormed aggressively into the ring and put right off the local matador Oliver Guettel under pressure. Guettel received an eight count by referee Daniel Van de Wiele after an effective blow of Ilian Ares, but SES’ boxer kept the track of the fight and recovered during the break. In addition the boy of Leipzig got a left eye cut in the second round. However Dirk Dzemski’s trainee remained brave and stood up to Ilian Ares.
During the first third Oliver Guettel was the better one. Obviously Ares did not manage to keep pressing his rival. At the end of the fourth round Ares showed fist signs of weakening. Guettel staged himself as the better one. It was an “its make or break” fight till the first half. The rivals provided the spectators with the best bout of the evening. I the eighth round Ilian Ares received an injury above his left eye too. To the end of the fight Ares kept defying more and more but Oliver Guettel remained unimpressed and prevailed with better boxing skills. The fight remained till the last second suspenseful and appeared to be on edge. In the last round the Aschersleben’s audience whooped its local matador once again up. The spectators were tense with expectancy to hear the final decision of the judges. The jury’s assessment was 98:91, 97:93 und 97:93. Thus, Oliver Guettel ist the new WBC Youth World Champion in welterweight.
WIBF Lightweight World Championship, 10 Rounds
Ramona Kühne vs. Galina Invanova
Result: Win on points Ramona Kuehne (97:93, 96:95, 96:95)
A completely sold out Ballhaus-Arena in Aschersleben/Germany celebrated Ramona Kuehne of Berlin as a WIBF World champion on Friday evening. Kuehne started out her world championship fight at pressure. Bulgarian Galina Ivanova performed as a southpaw and technically good female boxer. Both boxers made a fight of outstanding technical level and high pace.
In the fourth round, the girl from Bulgaria demonstrated her entire experience and technical skills through rapid combinations, which really troubled Ramona Kuehne. However, the boxer of Berlin proved to have a brave heart and kept setting counterattacks. In the sixth round Kuehne bloodied Ivanova’s nose but the Bulgarian kept pressing hard and accomplished the prophecy that she would be a pretty heavy opponent for the boxer of Berlin. Every minute of the fight was suspenseful. Both rivals stayed really hard with each other till the last minute exchanging heavy blows and performing a real ring battle, which was acknowledged by the grateful audience with rapturous applause. At the end of the fight the jury emerged the winner on 2:1 points Ramona Kuehne. Thus the female boxer of Berlin got the WIBF lightweight world champion’s belt.

Now in this beautiful town Universum’s world champion Sergiy Dzinziruk is defending his WBO super welterweight belt. His rival Lukas Konecny comes from SES boxing stable and is currently the #2 in the WBO ranking. This world championship fight had to be twice postponed to this new date due to injuries of both boxers.
For undefeated Ukrainian Sergiy Dzinziruk (34-0-0 (22)), who trains in Hamburg, it is not only about defending the world title but as well convincing, that he wants to challenge in the future other federations’ champions and show his big boxing talent in USA. “I am in Dresden for the first time and my impressions are very positive – very beautiful town. Because the fight with Lukas Konecny was two times rescheduled due to injury, of course I am very god prepared for him. I know him since a long time, keep up with his carrier and have seen his victories. We with my coach Michael Timm are very familiar with his way of boxing. I’ll win”, said Sergiy Dzinziruk laid back at the press conference in Dresden today.
The Czech Lukas Konecny (36-2-0 (18)) - who trains and lives in Magdeburg - wants to try with an iron will his chance for a world champion belt in super welterweight for the first time after he recovered from the rip injury. He will be a tough and an awkward rival. In the fight record of the WBO-Inter-Conti title holder are wins against such names like Khoren Gevor, Ante Bilic and Roman Dzuman – fights at which he made a furore. “There is something good in the two-time rescheduling; I live near to Dresden and my Czech fans should not travel very far to come here. Sergiy Dzinziruk is a super skillful boxer and one of the best in his weight class for me. This will be the greatest fight in my career and if I want to win I have to surprise him”, so a realistic and respectful Lukas Konecny.

+ + + Natascha Ragosina Defeated in a
Historic Duel and Won Seven World Champion Crowns + + +
Last Saturday in a complete sold out hall at the Magdeburger Maritim Hotel – in front of 1 500 spectators – SES’ champion Natascha Ragosina fought for seven world champion titles. In the bout against Teresa Perozzi of Bermuda at sake were the belts of WIBF, GBU, WBA, WBC, WIBA, WIBC, and IWBF. At the end of this historical duel the beautiful Russian lady won through unanimous decision and got – for the first time in the female boxing – seven world champion crowns.
Both female boxers began very carefully. Teresa started her first attack in the second round but Natascha countered confidently. The champion scored with effective punches in the end of the round. As expected the challenger of Bermuda got aggressive. She called out with her actions strong counter attacks of the SES’ fighter. The reach advantage of Natascha Ragosina proved to be again a strong weapon. The boxing tsarina has been scoring at Teresa’s head with her right punch arm again and again. The champion was leading unanimously on points from the half of the distance on. Bermuda fighter’s left punching hand found almost never its target due to Natascha Ragosina’s consistent guard.
The world champion really “dismounted” her rival in the seventh round. Natascha’s many efficient attacks attained the target. At the end the Muscovite scorched the earth. She continued her tactics. Although Teresa Perozzi had not given up, had fought bravely and had been searching the close distance over and over, she could not impress Ragosina. The world champion gave once again all that she could in the last round and Perozzi did not have any chance against these attacks.
6 Rounds Heavy Weight - Eugen Orlov vs. Norbert Sallai - TKO-Win, 1st Round, 1.04 min Eugen Orlov
SES’ boxing giant Eugen Orlov started his fight in Magdeburg with a real artillery barrage. Norbert Sallai could not oppose the supremacy of the Magdeburger. The Hungarian showed no resistance already in the first round. Referee Klaus Griesel was forced to break the fight and thus Eugen Orlov won through TKO in the first round.
4 Rounds Welterweight - Tommy Altmann vs. Sven Füchsel - Unanimous Decision on Points Tommy Altmann
In his second pro fight Tommy Altmann of SES’ box stable faced Sven Fuechsel of Halberstadt, Germany. Coach Dirk Dzemski’s fosterling proved that he made progress. He performed clear skilful boxing and dictated the bout from his sure coverage. Sven Fuechsel tried to attack on his own but failed to score. Tommy Altmann set the more convincing punches. SES’ pro was the better fighter the entire distance of four rounds. Thus he scored a deserved unanimous win on points in his second professional bout.
6 Rounds Heavyweight - Vladimir Tereshkin vs. Zoltan Peto - Unanimous Win on Points Vladimir Tereshkin
If Spotlight’s pro Vladimir Tereshkin has been consequently following his riva, he could have put him in his place even still the first round. During the next two distances of the six-round bout, Zoltan Peto of Hungary could avoid the fight very skilfully. Despite the clear dominance of Vladimir Tereshkin, the Hungarian could save himself over and over in round intermissions. Torsten Schmitz’ fosterling did not managed to defeat his rival Peto before the final gong. The judges rated the duel therefore as a unanimous win on points.
6 Rounds Welterweight - Marco Cattikas vs. Maurycy Gojko - Unanimous Win on Points
Marco Cattikas of Spotlight Boxing’s team of Hamburg disputed a six-round duel against Maurycy Gojko of Poland after a two year rest. The Pole Gojko got a hook to the liver still in the first round and received an 8 count from referee Manfred Kuehler. Marco Cattikas showed clear predominance in the follow up as well. Over and over he has been exploding with thunder jabs and put pressure on Gojko. At the end the Spotlight’s pro won by unanimous decision.
6 Rounds Junior Featherweight - Esther Schouten vs. Zsofia Bedo - Unanimous Win on Points Esther Schouten
Former female WIBF super bantamweight world champion Esther Schouten made her come back at Maritim Hotel in Magdeburg on Saturday after a long illness. The native Netherlander was very impressive against Hungarian Zsofia Bedo. Esther Schouten ceded no round in the 6-round junior featherweight duel. In fifth round Dutchwoman was clear ahead. Zsofia Bedo showed only little defence and tried to shirk from fighting. Esther Schouten was awarded by the jury with a unanimous decision.
4 Rounds Middleweight - Enrico Wolf vs. Adam Gawlik - Unanimous Win on Points Enrico Wolf
SES’ pro Enrico Wolf of Halle (Germany) disputed his third pro fight on Saturday in Magdeburg. He performed very confident against his opponent from Poland Adam Gawlik. From the very beginning he has been dominating the fight under his perfect cover. Gawlik has been trying all the time to reach a goal with counter attacks from his safe defence. Enrico Wolf left the Pole no chance. Gawlik was heavy scarred by Wolf already after the third round. SES’ pro did not cope to win before the final gong but he got a clear decision on points.

“Seven at One Stroke!“ - Natascha Ragosina Wants to Get in the Guinnes Book of World Records through the Fight against Teresa Perozzi
21 Feb 2008
+ + + 15th March 2008 Boxing Gala in Magdeburg
Promoted by SES+ + + Live 11:00 p.m. on DSF + + +
„Seven at one stroke“ is Natascha Ragosina’s (16-0-0, 11 KOs) motto of 15th March 2008. The current five-world-title holder is to earn two new belts and thus to get in the Guinness Book of World Records. Famous boxers like Joe Calzaghe - with the most title defences in super middleweight - have already perpetuated their names in the book of the unusual records. Natascha Ragosina would be probably the first female boxer entering the famous records reference book. The Muscovite has already collected the crowns of WIBF, GBU, WBA, WBC und WIBA. Now the IWBF’s und WIBC’s will be added. In this multi title duel Natascha Ragosina, who is also currently number 1 in the independent world ranking, faces Teresa Perozzi (6-2-1, 1 KOs) of Santa Monica (Bermuda/USA).Teresa Perozzi was born on 31st December 1973 in New Hampshire. At the age of 7 she relocated to Bermuda with her American mother. The 34-year-old Teresa has been active in sports in Bermuda all her life. She played basketball and participated in many triathlon competitions. 1990 she began an amateur boxing career. In March 2003 Teresa made her professional debut in Las Vegas, defeating Nicole Conant. Her last fight was against the Swede Aasa Sandell (6-3-1). Teresa Perozzi got a draw in the Swedish Karlstad. Olaf Schroeder, which stood as an observer at the ring, saw clear advantages on the side of the American. The judgement was typical for a fight abroad, so Olaf Schroeder’s estimate. Teresa Perozzi had proven in any case that she can prevail against large women. Aasa Sandell’s height is 185 cm. Thus she towers above Natascha Ragosina four centimetres. The athlete of Bermuda thinks she has a good chance to win seven world champion belts at one stroke against the Tsarina of boxing. In addition she believes to have further advantages as a southpaw. DSF (German Sport TV) transfers live the super fight from Magdeburger Maritime Hotel at 11:00 p.m.
Further highlight of the fight night will be the heavy weight clash between the giant of SES Eugen Orlov (5-2-2, 4 KOs) and Magdeburger local matador Dirk Thielecke (1-0-0, 1 KO). Dirk Thielecke made his pro debut winning before the final gong against Pole Roman Kaloczai at Hermann-Gieseler-Hall in Magdeburg 18th September 2004 at one of the fight nights promoted by SES. Actually the Magdeburger has already had 40 fights in his record as a Thai boxer. Thielecke wants to teach fear the big (206 cm) Eugen Orlov. The giant is not really impressed and even being true to his new alias “Ice man”, Thielecke’s intention leaves him cold.
Youngster Tomy Altmann (1-0-0, 1 KO) promoted by SES enriches the fight night with a 4-round bout in welterweight. Enrico Wolf (2-0-0) of Halle is another one of the party, who fights in middleweight 4 rounds. Another heavyweight tidbit is the performance of undefeated Vladimir Tereshkin (6-0-0, 5 KOs), who has been training currently with coach Torsten Schmitz of SES. One more Torsten Schmitz’s trainee gets into the ring at Maritim hotel in strong support of Natascha Ragosina. Dutch girl Esther Schouten (18-4-1, 9 KOs), who recovered from a lymph gland cancer last year, fights in a 6-round-duel. Esther Schouten was 2002 and 2003 WIBF’s world champion in super bantamweight. www.ticketonline.de:

Natascha Ragosina wants “Seven at one Stroke“
28 Jan 2008
Boxing for Guinness World Records Book
+ + + Boxing Evening of SES on 15th March 2008 in Magdeburg + + +
Undefeated five world titleholder Natascha Ragosina (16-0-0, 11 KOs) is in eager pursuit of superlatives. On 15th March 2008 the boxing lady of SES climbs again into the ring. In the Magdeburger Maritim hotel the 31-year-old Muscovite jeopardise not only her five world champion super middleweight crowns (WIBF, GBU, WBA, WBC, WIBA), but wants to gain two further world champion’s laurel wreaths.
"Seven at one stroke" is the slogan of Natascha Ragosina this time. And because the fight is more than record-breaking, she wants to register this duel at the Guinness World Records Book too. With seven world champion belts Natascha Ragosina would follow in Roy Jones Jr.’s footsteps, who had already successfully boxed for seven world titles among the men. A unique world champion’s achievement will certainly happen, but nobody knows what is the name of the winner after ten rounds (or also less in case of a premature victory) in Maritim hotel on 15th March. No female boxer of the world has ever hold 7 world champion’s belts in the end of a box match.
The main fight of this evening will be broadcasted live by the German sport TV channel DSF. The undercard features many other Magdeburger professionals of SES, who will make international fights in Maritim hotel on 15th March. Tickets for the extraordinary event are available at all Ticket Online agencies, in internet at www.ticketonline.de as well as at SES-Ticket-Hotline +49(0)391/7346430.

+ + + Eugen Orlov - Sparring Specialist for the Preparation of Valuev’s Duels + + +
SES pro Jan Zaveck (23-0-0 13) is boxing in an eight-round bout against Pietro d’Alession (5-6-1 4) from Solingen/Germany within tomorrow's "Universum Champions Night" in the Burg-Waechter Castello hall in Duesseldorf. The fight of the native Slovene within the heavyweight world championship between Ruslan Chagaev and the British Commonwealth’s champion Matt Skelton is his last match test before the European championship box bout against the Ghanaian based in Belgium Jackson Osei Bonsu.
Starting from Saturday, another boxer of SES will dedicate himself to an interesting task. Heavyweighter Eugen Orlov flies to Bulgaria for a two-week training camp. He is supporting there Sergei Liakhovich in his preparation for the world champion elimination fight against Nikolay Valuev. Because of his height (2,06 m) Orlov has already made a sparring session with Ruslan Chagaev, who defeated Valuev in Stuttgart on 14th April last year. The Belarussian Sergei Liakhovich wants to use the boxing potential of the Magdeburger SES fighter in order to be able to box successfully against the "Russian giant".

Robert Stieglitz is Waiting for a New Eliminator Adversary
11 Jan 2008
+++ Vitali Tsypko Ill / IBF Will Set a New Opponent +++
SES-Star Robert Stieglitz (31-1-0, 19 KO's) boxes again for # 1 of the IBF world rankings in super middleweight. Initially, the federation set for the Eliminator fight Vitali Tsypko (21-2-0, 11 KO's) of Sauerland Event and the Magdeburger SES-boxer. The plan was the fight should take place on 16th February in Nuremberg. However Tsypko is now reported sick.
That is why IBF will set a new adversary, the federation submitted to SES’s management this week. So Robert Stieglitz must prepare himself for a later date, but in the same time he’s got a longer preparatory phase. "I would have liked to box against Vitali Tsypko. Now I have to wait for a new name", said Robert Stieglitz. Important for him was actually the renewed opportunity to challenge officially the world champion.
Bad luck with his schedule had also SES’s pro Lukas Konecny, who wanted originally to box against Sergei Dzinziruk for the WBO crown in super welterweight on next Saturday at the "Universum Champions Night".

Captures vacant WBC crown! Güttel, Orlov also victorious!
December 15, 2007
By Wolfgang Schiffbauer at ringside
Just nine days before christmas, on December 15, 2007, Sport Event’s Steinforth (SES) staged a night of championship boxing in front of 3,500 people at the Anhalt-Arena in Dessau, Germany. Female star Natascha Ragosina was featured in the main event against Akondaye Fountain. For the first time on German soil, five world titles were on the line: Ragosina defended her WBA, WIBF, WIBA and GBU belts at super middleweight. Beside those four, the fighters clashed for the vacant WBC championship. First, it was scheduled to be a Interim bout but just days before the fight, the WBC stripped her champion, the daughter of Muhammad Ali, the greatest of all time, Laila Ali and declared that the real title will be on stake for Ragosina and Fountain. Also on the card, SES welterweight prospect Oliver Güttel against Arek Maelk from Poland in a eight round bout.
In the main event, the undefeadet WBA, WIBF, WIBA and GBU world super middleweight champion Natascha Ragosina scored a exciting, hard fought ten round unanimous decision over brave and tough previously unbeaten challenger Akondays Fountain from the USA. For the first three rounds, Ragosina showed great boxing skills. She displayed good footwork, kept the distance and effectivly countered her aggressive foe. Whenever Fontain tried to came close, Ragosina kept her at bay with quick straight hands. At the end of the second, both engaged in a little exchange, with the champion getting the better of it. The pace set by the 31-years old Ragosina was very high in the opening stanzas. Round for looked about the same, as Ragosina kept Fontain at the outside and catched her coming in with straight punches as well as with good hooks. As this was a WBC championship bout, their open scoring was used. After four rounds, all three judges had it 40-36 for Ragosina. The tide turned a little bit in the fifth, as the pace slowed a bit and Fontain was able to get some work done at the inside. She scored with two good right hands and stayed very aggressive. But Ragosina was still boxing well, scoring from the distance. It was the first close round but it was not enough by Fontain to take it. The sixth was again fought at a furious pace, with both fighters throwing lots of punches. Early in the round, Ragosina seemed to stun her opponent a bit but Fontain came back strong. The fight continued to be a give and take battle and after eight rounds, the champion was leading 78-74 twice and 79-73 on the third scorecard. However, Ragosina was the better boxer and most of the rounds because of her speed, her footwork and her ability to keep the range. Fontain showed a huge heart, as she went forward the whole fight, although she took hard shots by the champion. Ragosina, on the other hand, displayed good boxing skills and was able to fight at a very high pace. She kept Fontain on the outside and won most of the rounds while doing so. Although Fontain was dangerous through out the bout and had some more success in the tenth and final round, Ragosina kept her game together and scored a exciting and deserving unanimous decision victory over ten rounds. Scores were 98-93 and 98-92 twice. Fontain proved to be a worthy challenger but it just wasn’t enough to capture the championship belts. She suffers her first professional loss and falls to 7-1-1. With the victory, Ragosina adds the WBC crown to her impressive collection of title belts. And now holds five different world championships. The WBA, WIBF, WIBA, GBU and WBC titles. She improves to 16-0. Ragosina hopes to get a shot at legendary womans champion Laila Ali, the daughter of the legend himself, Muhammad Ali. SES offered Ali one Million US-Dollar for a fight next year. And is now waiting for a response by Ali. A Ragosina vs. Ali match-up could be described as a “female superfight”.
SES-hope Oliver Güttel defeadet Arek Malek in the co-feature, scheduled for eight rounds at welterweight. It was a hard fought battle but Güttel was in control from the opening bell, keeping his distance and scoring with some good combinations. Malek, on the other hand, tried his best but could rarely get past Güttels defense. He also bleeded badly out if his nose. In round seven, the referee deducted him a point for repeated holding. After the seventh, the corner of the Pole stopped the bout, making it a technical KO victory for Güttel in round eight. Malek falls to 5-13-2, while Güttel raises his record to 11-1, scoring is seventh KO win. The SES fighter, who impressed the crowd in Dessau, is hoping for a shot at the German welterweight title in the future.
Russian heavyweight Eugen Orlov destroyed Mihaly Nemet from Hungary in the very first round. The 206 cm, 130 kg Orlov scored to knockdowns before the referee called a halt to the action. The SES-fighter was in command all the way and dominated the short bout. Official time was 1:35 minutes. With the victory, Orlov moves to 5-2-1 with four KOs.
Tomy Altmann, who just signed with SES, also made his professional debut at welterweight against Anton Glofak. Altman succeded and won by technical KO in round three. Time was 2:40 minutes. Glofak was down once in the first and three times in the third before the referee stopped the bout. He also lost a point in the second for holding.
In the opening bout of the evening, super welterweight Jimmy Lang made his professional debut against journeyman Marian Tomcany. Lang won by a four round unanimous decision and scored knockdowns in the first and fourth round.
